J Street

J Street organizes and mobilizes pro-Israel, pro-peace, and pro-democracy Americans to promote US policies that embody Jewish and democratic values. The organization advocates for diplomacy-first American leadership, believing that a negotiated two-state solution is essential to securing Israel as a democratic homeland for the Jewish people while meeting the national aspirations of the Palestinian people.

Operating within the American political system, J Street works to broaden the debate on Israel and the Middle East. Through its advocacy, political engagement, and community-building initiatives—including its campus movement, J Street U—the organization seeks to empower supporters to shape a future defined by justice, equality, and peace in the region and the United States.
